The goal of Interventional Pain Management specialist is to relieve, reduce or manage pain and improve a patient's overall quality of life through minimally invasive techniques specifically designed to diagnose and treat painful conditions.  This will help patients return to their everyday activities quickly and without heavy reliance on medications.
 
People experience pain in many different parts of their body and for many different reasons. A goal of a pain specialist in our practice is to find the underlying cause of your pain and then treat it appropriately with interventional procedures combined with physical therapy, modalities and medications.

Strong body of knowledge that exists in pain management and physical medicine and rehabilitation is utilized at our practice to attempt to relieve pain.  The proper procedure will be selected after a thorough review of the patient’s history of pain, physical exam and attempted conservative treatments.  The emphasis will always be on optimizing patient comfort and maximizing function through a combination of therapy, medications, and interventions (such as injections).
